At main Iranian ports, port dues and charges are generally collected by
"Ports & Shipping
Organization" (P.S.O.) in accordance with an approved tariff for various
types of vessels. The
P.S.O. tariff, in principal, is based on ships' GRT, cargo quantity and
duration of stay alongside
berth.
For vessels calling at
Iranian oil terminals, port charges are divided in to two
portions:
1. Dues &
duties collected by P.S.O.
2. Services & charges collected by National
Iranian Oil Company (N.I.O.C)
and its affiliated companies , as per tariffs.
