Agency Services > Port Charges

At main Iranian ports, port dues and charges are generally collected by "Ports & Shipping
Organization" (P.S.O.) in accordance with an approved tariff for various types of vessels.  The
P.S.O. tariff, in principal, is based on ships' GRT, cargo quantity and duration of stay alongside
  berth.

For vessels calling at Iranian oil terminals, port charges are divided in to two portions:
    1.  Dues & duties collected by P.S.O.
     2.  Services & charges collected by National Iranian Oil Company (N.I.O.C)
and its affiliated companies , as per tariffs.

  Official Discounts

The ports and shipping organization (P.S.O.) of Iran has offered substantial discounts to ships or vessels that transport their goods via Iranian ports. This is in line with the Governments’ foreign trade policies and the need for procuring foreign revenues, expanding production, promotion of transit and containerized goods and boosting exports, announced by the Deputy Minister of Roads and Transportation and the P.S.O. Managing Director.
