EXPLANATION
: |

Type and
number of tugboats as well as time duration involved in
the berthing/unberthing operation are irrelevant to the
tariff.
-
Hire charges
for tugboats used in operations other than berthing/unberthing
is treated differently and will be charged as per
current (hourly) tariffs.
-
In case at
the time of berthing and unberthing of vessels according
to current rules and regulations, pilots and tugboats
are not used, no expenses will be charged for those
items.
-
No tugboat
or motorboat expenses will be charged for transferring
pilots.
